Today bp Chargemaster and Polar have been unified under one single brand bp pulse. This will mean a single brand for all their electric car activities and enable them to simplify the messaging to current and future EV drivers.
As part of the rebrand there is a brand new website on bppulse.co.uk website, which includes the content from the bp Chargemaster and Polar websites. A new feature is a live network map featuring an option to start and stop charges via a smartphone browser without using any apps.
The previous Polar Plus and Polar Instant smartphone apps were recently consolidated into a single bp Chargemaster app, which has also been rebranded to bp pulse. This makes it easy for users to find a nearby charger and get plugged in.
The signage and branding on public charge points across the country will be gradually replaced with new bp pulse branding. Otherwise, the experience of using the charging points and app will remain very much the same under this new bp pulse brand.
Zap-Map has already been updates to reflect the new bp pulse branding. This includes on the Zap-Map app, the Zap-Map desktop map and website pages.
