Chargemaster, Britain’s largest manufacturer of electric vehicle (EV) charging points, has placed 32nd in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100.

The list compiles the UK’s top 100 fastest-growing private technology companies, judged on the rate sales over the last 3 years.

In total, Chargemaster has installed over 20,000 domestic EV charging points across the UK and in 9 other European countries. What’s more, Chargemaster recently activated the UK’s 10,000th charge point as part of the governments EV infrastructure scheme.

In July, Chargemasters position in the UK market was strengthened further with a £3 million investment from Beringea, which will be used to fund further expansion into the European EV charging market.

David Martell, Chargemaster’s founder and chief executive said: “We are delighted to be recognised as one of Britain’s fastest-growing tech firms for the work that we are doing to accelerate the electric vehicle market, both in the UK and more widely in Europe.”

Under the new government EV homecharge scheme, Chargemaster has become one of the few manufacturers continuing to offer domestic charge points to EV owners free-of-charge. This will no doubt improve sales further.
