Would that be a commando socket then? If so it is not recommended but is possible if you can track down the right cable. We would advise sticking to the type 1 and type 2 public charging points available. See them all on our charging point map

Good choice, we were fortunate to be able to test drive the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV last week and I personally really enjoyed it.
I definitely recommend getting a Type 1 to Type 2 (mennekes) cable as this is the connection the majority of the points in the UK are equipped with.

Correct. As you say “points” refers to each outlet, there could be multiple points per location. “Charging locations”, on the other hand, refers to the a place where charging points are available irrespective to how many connectors there are there.
