It is not recommendable to charge at home without off street parking, for the very reason you outlined. Have you considered getting a charge point installed at work? Have a look at our Charging at Work page. Depending on what your job involves you may be able to charge your EV fully whilst it is parked during working hours.

If you visit Zap-Map Live via the search navigation bar or hit “Explore Zap-Map Live” on the home page this will take you to the main UK charging point map. This shows all the charging points in the UK without having to select any search criteria.

The statistics reflect the charge points shown on Zap-Map Live. These are mostly public charging points with a few restricted access points. So, in answer to your question on the whole they do not include work and home charge points.

From the homepage you can click ‘Explore Zap-Map’ or alternatively go to http://www.zap-map.com/live/. This will show a map of all the charge points in the UK without having to use the search tools. The search tools are there to add functionality to the original map, helping you find points nearby or around a specific location.
