    This article just proves how right Ecotricity were to start charging high prices to PHEVS.

    It is obvious that firms and milage claiming individuals were making a killing from Ecotricitys free electricity. I believe that without their free chargers at just about every motorway services the number of company registrations would be much much lower.

    Coupled with the Governments completely illogical BIK benefits it has distorted the market.

    There are now, no doubt, dozens of firms and individuals regretting their Phev purchases, and the sales of heavy Phevs with small batteries and low ICE mpg figures may actually decrease.
