Chargemaster us offering all visitors to Fully Charged Live the chance to get £1,000 off workplace charging equipment for their employer.
Considering that 5,000 visitors are expected over the course of the two days the show is running, the value of the offer could be worth up to £5 million.
With the UK Government offering up to £300 per charging socket – up to a maximum of 20 sockets – as part of the Workplace Charging Scheme, visitors can supplement that by picking up a code from the Chargemaster stand to give their employer, worth an additional discount of up to £1,000.
With workplace charging playing an increasingly important role in the UK’s EV charging infrastructure, the offer could be the final piece of the puzzle to convince some employers to get units installed.
Charge point owners can set their own tariffs for unit usage, and allow access via RFID cars – which also gves access to the public Polar network – if restrictions on usage are required.
