New study reveals Scottish Councils are leading the way on EV adoption

New research, conducted by Intelligent Car Leasing, has discovered that Dundee City Council, South Lanarkshire Council and City of Glasgow Council are the three biggest adopters of electric vehicles out of the 433 UK local authorities that partook in the study.

In the last quarter of 2014, Intelligent Car Leasing surveyed hundreds of local authorities via freedom of information requests, asking how many electric vehicles they own, manage or lease.

Below are the results of the study, highlighting the councils with the highest amount of electric vehicles in their fleet:
