ESB holds one of the Transport for London (TfL) concessions to provide rapid charging points for the capital’s EV taxi drivers. With comprehensive coverage in Ireland, ESB has extensive experience in operating an EV public charging network, and has expanded into London with its EV Solutions (Taxi) network, providing rapid charge points dedicated for taxi-only use.

ESB EV Solutions (Taxi) charge points can be accessed with an RFID card or smartphone app, with both pay-as-you-go and subscription access available. The network is split between taxi-only and public-use points, but access requirements are the same across the EV Solutions network.

Finding ESB EV Solutions (Taxi) points on Zap-Map

All ESB EV Solutions (Taxi) points can be found on Zap-Map by using the network filter and the ‘Show “taxi only” points on app’ function in the Zap-Map settings. This can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and displays only those rapid points available on the ESB EV Solutions (Taxi) network.

ESB is a Zap-Map dynamic data partner, providing a live feed of points that helps to show the most up-to-date charge point information possible. This means Zap-Map can show if a charge point is in use or available, alongside the traditional reports indicating whether the unit is operational or out of order.
