Everrati and Instavolt have joined forces to provide rapid charging to some of the world’s most iconic classic cars. Following the new partnership, drivers purchasing an Everrati electric car will receive an exclusive package from InstaVolt. This includes a personalised RFID card for use on all 550 of InstaVolt’s nationwide chargers.

Everrati specialises in converting classic cars to electric. So far the focus has been on Mercedes-Benz SL Pagodas and Porsche 911s. Each one is restored by the company’s experienced engineering team using the latest design technologies. The cars are then fitted with a custom-designed electric power unit.

InstaVolt CEO Adrian Keen said: “We’re excited about this partnership as it supports our notion for a cleaner future. Everrati transforms the most beautiful classic cars and reinvents them for an electrified future.

“Everrati customers can now enjoy the full potential of their electrified classics, confident that they can top up using the UK’s most reliable electric charging network while continuing to protect the environment, as our network is 100% renewably powered.”

InstaVolt has chargers across the UK, mostly at garages but also at fast food outlets such as McDonald’s and KFC.

Justin Lunny, CEO, Everrati said: “Our vision is to create the world’s most iconic electric cars; redefining iconic internal combustion engine cars into cosmetically improved, zero-emission vehicles. Our cars are designed to be driven and enjoyed. With InstaVolt as our recommended public charging network, our customers will be sure they can access highly reliable, rapid charging whenever they need it.”

Everrati currently works with the Porsche 964 and the Mercedes-Benz SL Pagoda but will soon offer a Land Rover Series IIA conversion, too. This gives new life to old classic cars and will help to continue their legacy as we move towards a future where electric vehicles are the norm on our roads.
