LowCVP are inviting organisations that have made a positive impact in the area of Low carbon Transport to apply for their Low Carbon Champions Award.
An awards ceremony recognising winners in seven categories will be held on Wednesday 10th September 2014, in conjunction with Cenex’s LCV2014 Event (Millbrook 10th/11th September).
The categories are as follows:
*Low Carbon Car / Van Manufacturer of the Year
*Low Carbon Heavy Duty Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year
*Low Carbon Vehicle Operator of the Year
*Low Carbon Fuel Initiative of the Year
*Award for Low Carbon Innovation by an SME
*Low Carbon Road Transport Initiative of the Year
*Outstanding Low Carbon Publication or Report
There will also be two further awards for:
*Outstanding Individual in Promoting Lower Carbon Transport
*Grand Prix Award (‘winner of winners’): Outstanding Achievement in Low Carbon Transport 2013-14
Nominees will be judged by panel of experts drawn from LowCVP stakeholder organisations. The key consideration will be the nominee’s contribution to the low carbon road transport agenda since January 2013.
Through its partnership with the Royal Society of Arts (RCA) winners of the LowCVP Low Carbon Champions Awards will become eligible to enter the bi-annual European Awards for Business and the Environment (EBAE).
Application forms can be found through the LowCVP website and should be sent to the LowCVP Secretariat no later than Friday, 13 June 2014.
