Aberdeen’s first EV Roadshow will take place on Saturday 17th September at the GE Oil & Gas Arena (AECC). The event – organised by the Energy Saving Trust – aims to show visitors the benefits of owning an electric car, with EVs and PHEVs available to test drive too.
Tesla’s Model S, the BMWs i3 and i8, VW’s e-Golf, the Nissan Leaf, and Renault’s Zoe will all be on show with the chance to get behind the wheel. Presentations will also be available to attend from the likes of Plug-In Adventurer Chris Ramsey.
Electric car specialists will be on hand to talk through the benefits and answer any questions from visitors, while there will also be an indoor ‘Kids Zone’ with bouncy castle, face painting and giant games to keep youngsters entertained.
