Zapmap has today launched the Zapmap charging card - a simple way for EV drivers to pay for charging with confidence, wherever they go.
Working seamlessly with the Zapmap app, the card allows drivers to start a charge with a quick tap at compatible charge points. With over 40,000 charge points across 30 networks already accessible for digital payments in the app, the new card offers even more flexibility and convenience for drivers on the road.
“We’re here to help drivers charge with confidence - and the new charging card makes that even easier,” said Melanie Shufflebotham, COO and Co-founder of Zapmap.
“Whether you're using your phone or tapping your card, paying with Zapmap fits around your journey.”
How it works:
- Add your debit card details once in the Zapmap app and order your card
- Tap your Zapmap charging card at supported chargers
- Your session and receipts appear automatically in the app
The charging card is available today to Zapmap Premium Annual subscribers for a small fee, with rollout to all Zapmap users later this summer.

Use Zapmap in-car via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, directly in the app, and pay for charigng with our new charging card.
The launch follows a year of significant growth in Zapmap’s payment network, more than doubling the number of charge points where drivers can pay through the app - giving drivers the peace of mind they can easily pay for charging, whether they’re near home, or further afield.
Why drivers will love it:
- One card, tens of thousands of charge points - no more juggling apps.
- Flexible payment options - choose to pay in-app or with the card.
- More confidence on the road - find and pay for charging in one place.
To order your card, open the Zapmap app and select 'Charging card' in the settings menu.
