Mitsubishi has reintroduced its 10,000 Free Green Miles offer, with new Outlander PHEV buyers able to off-set their electric driving with monthly credits on their energy tariff.
Partnering with Ovo Energy, Mitsubishi’s offer will see anyone buying a new Outlander PHEV from now until 30th September 2020 able to claim the deal.
Customers – either domestic or commercial – need to switch energy supplier to Ovo Energy, and will then receive a £20.40 credit each month for two years.
This equates to the cost of 10,000 electrically-driven miles in the Outlander PHEV, which has an EV-range of 28 miles on a single charge.
Other benefits of the Ovo Energy tariff are Polar Plus membership, enabling access to BP Chargemaster-operated charge points across the UK.
Mitsubishi’s calculations are that 10,000 miles in electric mode represents a 1,610 tonne reduction in tailpipe CO2 emissions – compared to a typical car producing 100 g/km CO2. That’s ignoring the benefits of electric driving on responsiveness, quietness, and other emissions on local air quality.
The UK’s best-selling plug-in car is also currently available with a £99 deposit and free home delivery – and trade-in collection where applicable – worth £100.
