RAW's new EV charging hub is set to open at Etruria Mills in Stoke-on-Trent on 19 September 2025. The site will be the largest and most powerful rapid hub in the area, supporting the region’s transition to sustainable transport and catering to the growing number of EV drivers.

To celebrate the launch, RAW are offering free charging for one week—from the 19th to the 26th September.

Funded and installed by RAW Charging, the hub will feature twelve 150kW ultra-rapid DC charging bays, offering fast and convenient charging for drivers in Stoke and those visiting from surrounding areas.

The Etruria Mills EV Hub is the result of collaboration between local authorities, private partners and energy providers, responding to increasing demand for fast and reliable EV charging solutions.

Neil Broadbank, Chief Commercial Officer, commented:

“We’re delighted to support improved EV infrastructure in Stoke. Last year there were already over 1.3 million fully electric vehicles on UK roads, and this is set to hit around 12 million by 2030—55% of all vehicles on the road. As electric vehicles become an integral part of everyday transport, initiatives like the Etruria Mills charging hub are vital in supporting drivers and reducing environmental impact across the UK.”

Andrew McDaniel, Founding Partner at Meadow Partners, which owns Etruria Mills in partnership with Roadside Real Estate Plc, added:

“Demand for roadside drive-thru and quick service retail is rapidly growing across the UK. As electric vehicle use increases, we’re pleased to enhance the service offering at Etruria Mills by adding critical EV charging hubs in addition to its compelling commercial shopping and dining spaces.”

The hub’s chargers are designed to charge an EV to 80 percent in approximately 30 minutes—giving drivers time to enjoy shopping or grab a bite at Nando’s, Wagamama, Costa or any of the other eateries at Etruria Mills. The chargers are compatible with all major EV models and networks, ensuring broad accessibility and convenience for all users.
