Strawberry Fields Farm Shop is proud to announce the launch of its brand-new ultra-rapid charging hub.

Featuring 12 superfast 300kW Kempower satellite system chargers, operated by Fuuse, the hub is now the largest EV charging facility just off the A30 and one of the largest in Devon.

Conveniently located on the Devon/Cornwall border, just off the A30, this state-of-the-art charging hub will be open 24/7, offering electric vehicle drivers a rapid, reliable charge — and a chance to unwind in a picturesque countryside setting.

The entire site is powered by 100% renewable energy generated on-site via our wind turbine (installed in 2014) and solar panels (installed between 2011 and 2023). This clean energy powers both the new chargers and the wider Strawberry Fields site, making the farm entirely self-sufficient and sustainable.

Each charger has been individually named and decorated to reflect the farm’s seasonal pick-your-own events and homegrown produce — from pumpkins and strawberries to tulips, sunflowers, beetroot, and lavender — adding a playful and personal touch to the charging experience.

Fuuse charge points can be found easily within the Zapmap app, where you can also pay start and pay for your charging session with just a couple of taps. Fuuse devices also accept the new Zapmap charging card, giving you an even simpler way to charge your EV.

“We’re incredibly proud to bring a sustainable EV solution to the region that not only supports greener travel but also celebrates the farming heritage and community spirit of Strawberry Fields,” said Adam, Owner of Strawberry Fields.

"The EV hub’s grand opening on 31st July marks an exciting milestone in Strawberry Fields’ ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and hospitality — supporting both the environment and the growing number of electric vehicle drivers traveling through the South West.
