In the wake of the huge success that was the launch of the Model 3, Tesla has revealed a refreshed look for its core car – the Model S. The revised Model S features a new front end, bringing it up to date with Tesla’s smallest offering, almost ditching any semblance of front grille completely.
There hasn’t been any change to the powertrain specifications, but these tend to be regularly updated anyway. That means the same variants are available as before the facelift – 70 and 70D, 90D and P90D.
What has changed is the option for buyers to specify their new Model S with the same medical-grade air filtration system that was debuted on the Model X. Fully adaptive LED headlights are now available too, along with the standard charger upgraded from 40 to 48 amps for faster charging on Tesla’s Supercharger network.
The new-look model is available to order in the US via Tesla’s online configurator, though there is no mention yet as to when the first deliveries will be made, or when the face-lifted Model S will make it to the UK.
