Engenie has partnered with Marston’s Inns and Taverns to roll-out rapid charge point installations at the company’s pubs across the UK.
The deal will see 400 of Engenie‘s rapid chargers installed, all powered by 100% renewable energy. Marston’s has more than 1,600 pubs across the UK, and has a number of environmental initiatives – with EV use fitting in nicely.
The Engenie points will be added to the company’s EV charging network, and like all other Engenie points, need no membership, RFID card, or app to use. Those charging simplt need to tap a contactless bank card to start and stop the charge.
Two Engenie chargers will be installed at each of the below Marston’s pubs by early 2019:

• Kings Highway, Derby (1 charger)
• Spring River, Ebbsfleet
• Old Plane Tree, Glasgow
• Red Sails, Hull

• Poppy Fields, Maidstone
• Lingfield Farm, Middlesbrough
• Talardy, St Asaph
• Highland Gate, Stirling
• Pepper Mill, Stoke-on-Trent
• Kings Chamber, Thorne
• Ruddy Duck, Wakefield
• The Bakehouse, Welwyn
• Black Pole, Worcester
• Plas Coch, Wrexham
