There are dozens of CPOs across the country, why should drivers filter for Evyve when they open Zapmap?
Evyve stands out because we’re focused not just on charging infrastructure, but on the quality of the overall driver experience. One of the ways we achieve this is through our close partnership with Greene King, whose managed sites are well known for their high standards, excellent amenities, and customer-friendly environments. Many of our chargers are located at Greene King pubs and restaurants, providing drivers with safe, well-maintained locations where they can enjoy great food, drink, and hospitality while they charge. Combined with our commitment to reliable, easy-to-use technology and exceptional customer service, this partnership ensures that choosing Evyve means choosing a better, more convenient, and enjoyable charging experience.
What's been the biggest surprise for Evyve so far this year, and how have you responded to that?
One of the most encouraging developments this year has been the renewed government support for the EV industry, including the tightening of the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mandate and the introduction of the £3,750 grant for new EV sales. This clear policy direction has given both consumers and the industry greater confidence in the transition to electric, and it’s reaffirmed our belief that demand for reliable, accessible charging will continue to accelerate.
In response, we’ve moved quickly to ramp up our deployment plans and strengthen partnerships with landowners, including Greene King and others, to secure high quality sites that will support this growing EV driver base. We're investing in expanding both the scale and resilience of our network to ensure we're ready to meet the needs of this next wave of EV adoption with dependable, well-placed infrastructure.
What is your most unique location in your network and why?
One of our standout locations is The Grange - Boreham in Essex just off the A12. It is our largest and most accessible site to date and is co-located with a Greene King restaurant and Premier Inn.
This location perfectly reflects Evyve’s ethos: modern, convenient, and community focused, offering fast and reliable charging in a well-used, accessible setting. It’s a fantastic example of how we’re embedding EV infrastructure into everyday destinations where people need it most.

What is the most recent innovation in the EV space which you think will have the biggest positive impact to the consumer experience?
The integration of contactless payment as standard across networks is a small but transformative innovation for EV drivers. It removes unnecessary barriers, simplifies the user experience, and helps normalize EV charging for everyone, whether a tech savvy early adopter or someone new to EVs. At Evyve, we’re proud to have embraced this approach, offering frictionless access across our expanding network.
How are you making the charging experience simple for drivers across the UK?
Our mission is to remove complexity from EV charging. That’s why we ensure all our chargers are easy to access, easy to use, and accessible through multiple platforms, whether via app, contactless card, or fleet solutions. We work closely with partners like Zapmap to ensure accurate, real-time availability data is always up to date. Our customer service team is UK-based, proactive, and responsive, ensuring any issues are quickly addressed, and our chargers deliver a consistently reliable experience.

What can electric car drivers expect from Evyve in the next six months?
The next six months will see significant further expansion of the Evyve network, with a focus on rolling out more ultra-rapid chargers at key strategic locations, from retail parks and leisure destinations to transport hubs and roadside services. We’re also enhancing our app’s features to give drivers greater control, visibility, and flexibility over their charging sessions. Evyve will continue to prioritise uptime, accessibility, and customer experience as we grow, helping drivers charge with total confidence wherever their journey takes them.
