IONITY

IONITY is a charging network offering En-route charging. As of the end of September 2025 IONITY had a total of 536 charge points across the UK.

Found at Extra service stations, retail parks, and partner locations like Village Hotels, IONITY has doubled its UK network this year, and plans to expand further with the development of charging locations at 14 more Village Hotel locations.
IONITY also partners with Roadchef, and is backed by Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Ford, and VW, and looks to offer its ultra-rapid charging stations every 100 miles along the major motorways of 24 European countries.
Thanks to its reliable and easy to use charge points, Zapmap users have rated it highly in the 2025 EV driver annual survey, awarding IONITY with an ‘EV driver recommended 2026’ award in the ‘Large rapid / ultra-rapid’ network category of its annual network rankings.

Where can you find IONITY charge points?

IONITY charge points are available nationwide and there are currently 536 across 58 locations which can all be found in the Zapmap app or on the Zapmap desktop map.
Simply use the Network filter on the app to pinpoint the charge points, there you'll also find the address, a detailed break down of the IONITY charge points at each location, their live status (where available), charge point speeds, costs to charge, and star ratings, photos and feedback from other Zapmap users.

Charging at a 50-149kW IONITY charge point currently costs 79p/kWh.
Charging at a 150-400kW IONITY charge point currently costs 79p/kWh.
