New Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV customers can now receive a free Chargemaster Homecharge unit as part of the package. The deal will see buyers save £279 with the charge point supplied and installed free of charge, with the offer covering the remainder of the costs after the government’s Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) is taken into account.

The 3.6kW Homecharge unit is available as part of Mitsubishi’s partnership with Chargemaster and reduces the charging time by around 60 per cent. The offer also comes with free membership to the Polar Plus charging network for six months, to increase the efficiency of the Outlandetr PHEV by both charging at home and at public points.

David Martell, Chargemaster CEO, said: “Customers buying a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV can make the best use of its range by charging it every day. Our free Homecharge offer now makes this even easier. Chargemaster is committed to making charging easy and accessible for every EV motorist, and the team can’t wait to get started on the campaign and future Homecharge installations to support Mitsubishi.”

The offer is available to new Outlander PHEV customers registered between Friday 14th October and Wednesday 28th December, with an installation date on or before Tuesday 31st January 2017, who are eligible for EVHS funding. Customers can apply for the charge point on Mitsubishi’s website here, or by calling Chargemaster on 01582 399412.
