Transport for London (TfL) prepare to hand over the reigns on the public EV charging network, Source London, next month to the french industrial design company, IER.

IER has announced that existing memberships will all be extended till 31st December 2014 to allow for a smooth transition and show a gesture of good will.

From September IER will take over responsibility for the Source London contact centre. Their customer service agents will be available to provide assistance if you have any problems using the scheme and will act as the single point of contact to report any faults.

IER plans to expand the chargepoint network to 6,000 points by 2018 and are developing a new website and mobile app which will allow customers to access Source London services ‘on the go’.

Currently, IER are hoping to gain insight into Source London member requirements with information gained from a short survey. To take part go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/sourcelondon
