Franklin Energy has completed the installation of more than 20 new fast charge point connectors at Q-Park sites in the UK and Ireland.

The latest phase of LiFe network operator’s roll-out with the car park firm has seen new 22 kW fast points added to seven locations in Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, and Sheffield.

These sites are at:

● Q-Park Victoria Square, Belfast

● Q-Park The Spire, Dublin

● Q-Park John Lewis, Liverpool

● Q-Park Hanover Street, Liverpool

● Q-Park The Light, Leeds

● Q-Park Piccadilly Place, Manchester

● Q-Park Sheffield Station, Sheffield

This body of work was made more complicated by Covid-19 disruption, but now it’s completed, the next phese will start before the end of the year, which will include the first LiFe/Q-Park installations in Scotland.

Franklin Energy’s LiFe network will be part of the next wave of networks added to Zap-Pay, which will be integrated within the next few months.

All points are available to view on Zap-Map desktop and app, with live status updates for users.
