As noted by Dr Ben Lane, Managing Director of Next Green Car: “With ever more plug-in models available, 2014 has been a great year for car buyers wanting to go electric. This is reflected in our 2014 shortlists, with a quarter of models being high-quality EVs.”
Melanie Shufflebotham, Sales and Marketing Director, says: “For the first time, this year the Next Green Car Awards include an SUV and LCV category. This reflects the spread of new technologies and efficiencies across an ever-increasing number of models and ranges. With a fuel cell vehicle, plug-in hybrid and pure electric models featuring in the ‘Next Gen’ category, progress is set to continue into 2015.”
A full list of the winners will be released next Tuesday (18th November 2014) on the Next Green Car site.
