A total of 32 new 7kW APCOA electric vehicle (EV) chargers are now live across 24 locations in Hillingdon, with a further 14 22kW charging points due to go live later this year.
An additional 36 charging points will be installed during the second phase of the rollout once electrical supplies have been confirmed.
“Not everyone has a driveway or the option to charge their cars at home,” said Cllr Jonathan Bianco, Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and Transport.
“Our expanding network will enable residents and visitors to top-up their vehicles in a convenient and affordable way.”
In April this year APCOA and Zapmap formed a live data partnership, meaning that users of the Zapmap app and web map are able to access the live status and availability of APCOA charge points at any time.
The new charging points are located at:
- Botwell Green Car Park, Hayes
- Brandville Road Car Park, West Drayton
- Fairfield Road Car Park, Yiewsley
- Green Lane Car Park, Northwood
- Highgrove Pool Car Park, Ruislip
- Hillingdon Sports and Leisure Complex Car Park, Uxbridge
- Pump Lane Car Park, Hayes
- Ruislip Lido Willow Lawn Car Park, Ruislip
Further charge points will be installed in the following areas:
- Civic Centre Car Park, Uxbridge
- Pembroke Gardens Car Park, Ruislip
- St Martin’s Approach Car Park, Rusilip
- Green Lane Car Park, Northwood (22kW)
- Ruislip Lido Willow Lawn Car Park, Ruislip (22kW)
- Devonshire Lodge, Eastcote (22kW)
