The Next Green Car Awards 2017 have been launched, with this year’s shortlist featuring a number of plug-in models.
Covering eight categories, 32 models from 18 manufacturers are vying for a Next Green Car Award in total. Of those 32 models, more than half are plug-in electric vehicles.
A mix of pure-electric and plug-in hybrids make up that EV count, with every category featuring at least one plug-in car.
Shortlisted plug-in models include the new Nissan Leaf, the VW e-Golf, Smart’s ed range, and the facelifted BMW i3 and new i3s.
