Chargemaster has added more than 2,000 charge points to the POLAR plus map following its agreement to purchase Charge Your Car (CYC) earlier this month. Now live, the move means that all POLAR plus customers have access to the CYC network through their existing membership.

In total, more than 2,000 additional charge points – which includes 300+ rapid chargers – have instantly been made available for POLAR plus members, accessible with either RFID card or key fob.

The newly added points can be found across the UK, with more than 90 per cent of them free to use for POLAR plus members. The remainder offer charging costs of 9p per kWh excluding VAT. Currently, users can’t collect POLAR points on the CYC units, though this feature will be added at a later date.

Although POLAR Plus customers can access Charge Your Car points the inverse doesn’t work, with Charge Your Car cards unable to access POLAR Plus points.

Head to the Zap-Map map to find all charge points involved by using the network filters feature.
