Seat has announced prices for the new Leon e-Hybrid PHEV, with orders open now and a starting price of £30,970.
The Leon e-Hybrid features a 1.4 litre petrol engine and electric motor, with the latter driven by a 13 kWh battery. This allows for a range of 36 miles on electric power only.
Charging is carried out via the Type 2 inlet, and the 3.6 kW on-board charger means a top up will take less than four hours.
Official economy scores for the latest PHEV from the VW Group see the Leon e-Hybrid up to 235.4 MPG and emit 27 g/km CO2.
Available in five trim levels – FR, FR Sport, Xcellence, Xcellence Lux and First Edition – the Leon e-Hybrid is Seat’s first PHEV available.
