With Clean Air Day less than 48 hours away, EV charging networks are revealing their plans to help drivers out on Thursday 20th June and encourage electric car usage.

So far, Alfa Power, Engenie, ESB EV Solutions, EV Driver, GeniePoint, InstaVolt, LiFe, and Pod Point have announced their plans, though this list will be updated as others confirm incentives as expected:

Notes:* Pod Point will bill users for a charging session as usual, and will reimburse any payments made during the day via in-app credit. Many systems will require the user to have registered an account with the network before allowing access to the units.

Head to each respective network’s website or social media feeds to find out more about what it is doing for Clean Air Day 2019.

Clean Air Day is an initiative that aims to increase awareness of air pollution, with projects such as encouraging members of the public to make a pledge highlighting a way of reducing their own impact on air quality. Find out more information at the Clean Air Day website. With many networks backed by 100% renewable electricity, EV drivers can easily charge knowing that their drive has a minimal impact on emissions.
