How to use EVC  charge points

Access to charging at an EVC charge point can be conducted two ways by using either the EVC Plus app, or by scanning the contactless terminal with a credit/debit card.
 

How to use the EVC Plus App:

  1. Plug-in the charge point connector and open EVC Plus App.
  2. Scan the QR code on the side of the charger.
  3. Choose your payment option.
  4. Start charging.

How to use contactless payments:

  1. Plug-in the charge point connector
  2. Tap your card on the payment terminal to initiate the connection
  3. Tap your card to the payment terminal to stop the connection and unlock the charge cable.

 

Where are EVC charge points located?

All EVC points can be found on Zapmap by using the network filter. This can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and displays only those points operated by .

Charging types and speeds can be filtered too, showing only those points that are compatible with users’ needs.

Select 'Filters' -> 'Networks' -> 'EVC ' to view only EVC charge points.

How does EVC compare to other networks in terms of pricing?

The price to charge an electric vehicle (EV) on the public charging network can vary substantively, and prices are increasing due to current issues in the energy market.
Updated on a monthly basis, the Zapmap Price Index shows the difference in prices paid depending on the type of charger and will also track how this is changing over time.
