We’ve rounded up some of the best attractions that offer on-site or nearby EV charging, perfect for trips with friends, family, or a solo adventure. Alton Towers
Adrenaline chasers and thrill-seeking EV drivers are well catered for at the Alton Towers Hotel and Splash Waterpark, where you'll find 14 22kW charge points (for simultaneous charging of 14 EVs) and an additional two 7kW connectors. All these devices are provided by RAW Charging and feature Type 2 connectors. For even more options, the Alton Towers Express car park offers five 22kW chargers, providing 10 connectors and dedicated charging bays.
And, it’s really easy to find and pay for charging with RAW with Zapmap. Whether you use the app directly or the new Zapmap charging card, you'll gain a full charging overview, access VAT receipts, and track your entire charging history, all within the app.


The Eden Project
Gearing up for a day immersed in one of the world’s largest indoor rainforests? Powering your EV for the journey home is easy, thanks to ample charging provision from Mer. In the main visitors car park you’ll find 10, 22kW charge points, with 20 connectors across 20 charging bays. There’s also a GeniePoint charger located at the Kiwi car park with one Type-2 22kW connector and a 43kW with a CCS connector.
And the best part? Both Mer and GeniePoint are Zapmap roaming partners. Which means you can pay for your charge with a simple tap of your Zapmap charging card or a click in the app. Less faff, more fun exploring the rainforest!

Chester Zoo
Explore the animal kingdom with peace of mind, knowing your EV charging needs are well met. You'll find 13 Pod chargers offering 26 Type 2 connectors, all delivering 7kW charging speeds for convenient top-ups while you enjoy the zoo's attractions. These chargers are reserved for visitors and staff only, but you can check on the availability en-route to the zoo in the Zapmap app - where the status of every Pod charge point is updated every few minutes.
Prefer a faster charge? Ultra-rapid charging is conveniently located nearby. The MFG EV Power Rowton hub (CH3 6AF) boasts three powerful 300kW charge points with six CCS connectors, and they accept all payment types including via the Zapmap app and contactless payments with the Zapmap charging card.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter
Embark on a magical journey at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter, and ensure a just as magical return journey in your EV, knowing your charging needs are covered.
For visitors to the Studio Tour, you'll find ample on-site charging provided by Pod. There are 41 devices available, all with Type-2 connectors and delivering 7kW charging speeds.
Should you need a rapid boost, a powerful hub is conveniently located nearby. At Osprey Charging's Woodside Leisure Park (WD25 7JZ), you'll discover 16 high-power devices equipped with both CHAdeMO (50kW) and CCS (up to 300kW) connectors, ensuring a swift charge before or after your enchanting visit. Osprey charge points accept the Zapmap charging card as well as payment through the app, so you can charge with confidence and check on the progress of your charge at any time.


LEGOLAND Windsor Resort
There’s no need for a step by step instruction manual when it comes to charging at Legoland, the charge points here come pre-built, the Zapmap app is all you need. - so you can spend less time searching and paying for charging, and more time building your adventure.
Extensive charging options are provided by RAW Charging - at the Priority Car Park, there are 11 devices offering 24 Type 2 connectors for 22kW charging, ensuring visitors can top up their EVs while enjoying the theme park. (Please note: a valid priority parking ticket is required for access to these points). For those staying longer, the LEGOLAND Resort Hotel also provides convenient charging with 5 devices offering 10 Type 2 connectors, also at 22kW, for hotel guests to charge overnight.
Stourhead - National Trust
With RAW Charging providing a range of charging options, you can immerse yourself in Stourhead's beauty, knowing your EV will be ready for the journey home.
Located conveniently in the main car park, there are 10 x 22kW Type-2 connectors. For those needing a faster charge, Stourhead also boasts powerful rapid and ultra-rapid options, four 150kW CCS connectors and an additional four 300kW CCS connectors.
Payment can be made via the Zapmap app or charging card, and with either options all of your charging summaries are available in the charging history section of the settings menu. One app, one card, EV charging with confidence.

The BVRLA’s Bon VoyCharge campaign aims to shine a spotlight on the need to plan and install destination chargers, working with policymakers to secure greater installation of destination charge points.
