ChargedEV has partnered with salary sacrifice company car scheme provider Tusker to become the sole installation partner for its EV charging projects. The leading independent EV charge point installer will cover both domestic and commercial units for Tusker.

The deal will also see ChargedEV offer the scheme providers help to get charging points installed at the workplace, where it is expected that a third of EV charging from Tusker vehicles will take place.

The partnership is currently offering a free charge point when an electric or plug-in hybrid car is ordered in September. Using the Rolec EV range of charge points, ChargedEV works nationwide and is an accredited OLEV Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) installer. Installation packages start from £149 for a 32A socket with access to the Charge Your Car network.

Paul Gilshan, CMO of Tusker, said: “It’s great to be partnering with ChargedEV. Like Tusker they take pride in putting their customers first and take care of the entire install process themselves. We are proud to be offering our drivers a charge point install service for their salary sacrifice cars at such great value making it even easier for our customers to drive electric vehicles.”

Mark Pymm, Director of ChargedEV, explains why partnership agreements like this are critical in the smooth transition to electric vehicles for its partner’s customers. “When we partner with companies like Tusker, we are able to create a bespoke package and customer journey to ensure the end user receives a first class level of customer service in keeping with the vehicle supplier’s own.

“As part of our Dealer+ partner program, we are able to offer a tailored package with additional discounts to end users and even more benefits for the partners meaning they can outsource the whole process with peace of mind.”
