Electric vehicle (EV) drivers visiting Corby Retail Park will soon benefit from 10 new ultra-rapid charge points thanks to the approval of plans from North Northamptonshire Council.
Charging bays have been designed to accommodate accessibility needs, and the 150kW charge points will be capable of recharging vehicles in under 30 minutes - depending on the charging capacity of the vehicle.
Paying for charging with evyve charge points is simple with Zap-Pay, allowing you to check on your charge status at any time and find all of your receipts in one place.
evyve charge points can be found on the Zapmap app, including all live status and availability information, allowing EV drivers to plan charging to suit their needs.
“We’re thrilled to announce the latest evyve EV charging hub to be granted planning permission as we continue to expand our network and remain on track to energise 2,000 much needed high powered charging stations by 2025 to support the UK’s transition to electric vehicles,” said James Moat, evyve’s CEO.

“We have recently consulted on our draft electric vehicle infrastructure strategy and this formed part of a bid to government for funding to help improve our network, primarily off-street.”
