IONITY opens ultra-rapid charging hub in Bodmin

Six new 350kW public high-power electric vehicle (EV) charge points are now live in Bodmin Retail Park, PL31 2GA. just off the A30 and A39.

The new en-route site will support long-distance travel that is 100% emission-free for families, beach seekers and travellers looking for an escape to Cornwall over the summer months.

The opening of the site is a landmark one for IONITY, answering the public’s call for more rapid charging in Cornwall, one of the UKs most popular holiday destinations. The site will be close to is Exeter charging site based just off the M5 in Cullompton (EX15 1NS) and extends IONITY’s presence further southwest in the UK. 

Charging with IONITY means 100% green energy from source to socket, which makes EV travel emission-free and truly carbon neutral, providing a positive contribution to the overall goal of decarbonisation across the UK and Europe.
