Buyers of Jaguar’s new I-Pace and Land Rover’s PHEVs will be able to easily get a home charge point installed by Pod Point, after the EV charging company has been awarded a Preferred Suppler Agreement by the Jaguar Land Rover group.
Available to install charge points at customers’s homes, or at a business’ location, Pod Point units will likely be charging the likes of the new I-Pace EV and the Range Rover or Range Rover Sport P400e PHEVs.
The I-Pace has a 90 kWh battery with a range of 298 miles according to WLTP tests, while the Range Rover P400e and Range Rover Sport P400e have a range of 31 miles off a single charge.
Erik Fairbairn, CEO of Pod Point, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Jaguar Land Rover, particularly following the launch of the I-PACE, which was a very exciting moment for our industry. Likewise, working with high profile brands like Land Rover as they launch their first plug-in models is another landmark achievement for Pod Point.”
