Quickly expanding, Alfa Power is setting up a nationwide public charging network focused on rapid and fast charge points for EV drivers to access.

Access to Alfa Power points is available for users that have set up an account and received an RFID card, or on a pay-as-you-go basis by using the network’s app or a smartphone’s QR reader.

Access to the Alfa Power network is made via the network’s smartphone app, RFID card, or generic QR reader – which then opens up a payment portal. Payment is then taken from a credit or debit card linked to the customer’s account after the charging session is complete.


Finding Alfa Power points on Zapmap

All Alfa Power points can be found on Zapmap by using the network filter. This can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and displays only those points operated by Alfa Power.

Charging types and speeds can be filtered too, showing only those points that are compatible with users’ cars.





About Alfa Power

Alfa Power is part of the Group Alfa consortium, and is developing a network of EV charge points across the UK – all powered by renewable energy. Locations are also being chosen where there is a key need for charge points from EV drivers, and where there is a genuine business case.

The company’s units use are triple-header rapid chargers, offering speeds of up to 60-100 kW DC on CCS and CHAdeMO, up to 43 kW on Type 2 AC, plus also the option to charge at 22 kW AC using an untethered cable.
